WELCOME TO THE OFFICIAL CRC WEBSITE
CRC (Computer Racing Championship) is an F1-based racing series for kids aged 8-20 that was started in 1996 but if a driver is a current driver and they turn 20, they will be able to continue in CRC. A driver will be able to continue in CRC for as long as they like, providing they still fit in with the eligability regulations.
CRC was founded way back in 1996 by the Kids Sim Racing Organisation (KSR for short), and it started life on the Microprose simulator "Grand Prix 2." with a KSR integrated online system. In 2001, CRC changed to using the sequel of GP2, "Grand Prix 3" again, with an integrated online system. CRC would use GP3 for 2 years until in 2003, CRC would go on to use EA's simulator "F1 Challenge 99-02", with the online system seen in that game. . CRC would use it for 4 incredible years of close racing and fabulous championship battles. In 2007, CRC took another step forward as they changed to the popular "rFactor." CRC would use this simulator for 8 years, with some incredible races and championship battles. In 2015, after years of deliberation, CRC finally made the switch to rFactor 2 and that is the simulator that is being used to this day.
