Brazilian GP: Estlea wins action packed race at Interlagos

The Brazilian GP was am action packed affair.

Off the startline, Moores got away poorly which allowed both Estlea and Doran through. Doran then passed Estlea when his car stuttered and the Yonatarokers then traded second place for a while. Doran pitted but then collided with Milliner, which lost her her front wing, ruining her race.

Moores then collided with backmarker James Laing and had to retire, leaving Estlea to lead. The safety car was deployed when Baldwin did an identical crash to Alex Moores' from twelve months ago. This turned the race upside down for everyone, except the race leader Will Estlea, who on the restart scampered off into the distance. Lucy Woodward, who lost her front wing earlier fought her way back up to third, which would become second when Toby Jones crashed out. Chantelle Hawke on medium tyres lost out with the safety car as she dropped to eighth from third.

From the safety car onwards however there were no troubles for Will Estlea as he took his twelfth win of 2016 ahead of a phenomenal drive from Lucy Woodward with Matt Coombs finishing in third. Despite only getting 4 points, this race ensured Dowke have secured second in the constructors standings!
