Abu Dhabi GP: Hawke overcomes backmarker troubles to take convincing win at the Yas Marina Circuit

The Abu Dhabi GP was an exciting affair.

Off the startline, Doran got the jump on Moores. Estlea did not escape in his typical fashion and Hawke was able to pass him to take the lead. A shocking occurance would occur later when Will Estlea crashed out after an uncharacteristic mistake, ending his dominant season with a DNF.

Hawke led the way for the next phase of the race with more pace than anyone else on soft tyres. But she needed to create a gap in order to be able to make that extra stop and still finish ahead of Moores. Which was halted by being held up by some unaware backmarkers. When she pitted she chased down Moores and on the final lap, Chantelle Hawke caught and past him to finally take her first win of the season. Alex Moores finished in second with Toby Jones in third.

Here is the result of the final ever CRC race.
