CGP2 Bahrain: Shilling takes surprise win in Bahrain

The CGP2 race in Bahrain was an exciting affair.

Off the startline, pole sitter Jesse-Jane McParland lost out to Reece Jefferies, but gained the position back. Grace Wilkinson was on a charge as she then passed multiple cars and eventually took the lead, however a botched pitstop dropped her to fifth, and she eventually retired from the race due to a problem with the car.

Dan Shilling, who was battling in the midfield before the stops, was up to third, before he made light work of Jefferies to take second. He gradually began eating away at Jesse-Jane McParland's lead and eventually passed the Racing Factory driver, to take a shock win, with McParland finishing in second and Joshua Suttill taking the final podium slot in third.

Here is the result of the CGP2 race in Bahrain.
