Abu Dhabi Qualifying: Estlea storms to pole at the Yas Marina Circuit
Qualifying from the Yas Marina Circuit was an intense affair.
Will Estlea didn't even leave the garage till there was four minutes to go, but when he did, he set a lap that was easily good enough for pole position on a 1.35.318 to take his fourteenth pole of 2016. Chantelle Hawke was second on a 1.35.698 ahead of Alex Moores in third on a 1.35.761. Hannah Doran was fourth on a 1.35.931 ahead of Matt Coombs in fifth on a 1.36.067.
Kieran Hardy was sixth on a 1.36.321 ahead of Rosie O'Driscoll in seventh on a 1.36.377. Toby Jones was eighth on a 1.36.484 ahead of Dan Milliner in ninth on a 1.36.588 and Jack Baldwin in tenth on a 1.36.854.
