Bahrain GP: Estlea dominates Bahrain GP

The Bahrain Grand Prix was a fairly processional affair.

Off the startline, Estlea didn't get the best launch, but Hawke attempted to pass Moores, leaving a gap for Estlea to go through into the lead. Hawke lost out on the exit of Turn 2, allowing Jones to pass the pair of them. Moores would eventually repass Jones, but by then Estlea had a big lead.

The real interest in the race was how high the two Dowke Racing cars were going to get, and they looked like they could challenge the Coombs GPs for the final podium positions, when Chantelle Hawke would sadly have to retire with a brake failure, and contact with Dan Phillips damaged Hannah Doran's car to the point she was unable to challenge the Coombs GPs after an extended pitstop.

Back at the front and Will Estlea finished off another dominant performance by winning the Bahrain Grand Prix, with fastest lap set as well, with Alex Moores finishing in second, and Toby Jones rounding out the podium. O'Driscoll, Doran, Baldwin, Hardy, Milliner, Coombs and Buchan completed the points.

Here is the classification from today's race.
