Japanese GP: Estlea secures title with dominant display at Suzuka

The Japanese Grand Prix was an interesting affair.

Off the startline, Estlea got a perfect launch, but all that looked to be undone when his car stuttered on the exit of the hairpin. That however proved to help him as it allowed Coombs past Hawke, who was sticking with Estlea. Hawke wasted no time passing the Master Force, but Estlea had pulled out a large gap.

Alex Moores meanwhile was progressing through the field and would eventually work his way up to fourth. For the duration of the race, Estlea's main opponent was the soft tyre shod Chantelle Hawke, who was expected to pose a major threat to Will. However Hawke's soft tyre strategy hadn't worked as expected, and she ended up behind the Master Force of Dan Milliner, and for a while it looked like she was going to have to settle for third.

There was no trouble for Will Estlea however, who crossed the line to take a dominant win, which was enough to secure the title for a second year in a row! Taking the runners up spot was Chantelle Hawke, who just beat Dan Milliner to the line to finish in second place!

Here is the result of the Japanese GP.
